Software Issues

This is frustrating. I really did do this song all good in about 2 1/2 hours, and it sounded great. Then I ripped it into an mp3 for you all to enjoy, and this hissing sound popped up. I re-did the vocals to take care of it . . . and nothing. Now I still have the hiss, I'm up way past my bedtime, and my vocals aren't as good because I rushed them to try to get the problem fixed. It's something to do with the filter I did on the voice . . . so we'll have to see if I can fix it and get the new version out.

Until then, just imagine this without the hiss and some cleaner vocals . . . pretty frustrating.

Enjoy (somewhat):

I am going to wait patiently, I am up to my ears in grading papers and wrapping up a term UGH! No time for fun!... well... maybe i'll just listen to some of it...with the hiss. I hope that your studio gets its act together. I hate when new toys don't do what they are supposed to do the first round.

You will figure it out- and it will be beautiful.

Like I could ever listen to only a portion of a CVT song! Yeh right!

Of course I loved it-your incorporation of multiple live instruments really makes a difference.

Here's what I think i see in your future, incorporating some yells- maybe some angry song after another ridiculously dull training or meeting. Think punk... rock or possibly...(it might sound crazy)... even Prince.

For example in When Doves Cry when he starts screaming/sqwawking towards the end. It's abstract, but I was watching Purple Rain the other Day, so it is fresh in my mind. I know it is random.

Regardless of my random requests...
(Insert cool yell here________________________)
i LOVE that you are not only creating and growing your art but that you are sharing it. That's fricken huge. Seriously, we are all really lucky. And come on, it is more fun with an audience, no?

Thank you for bringing us new and innovative listening pleasures, in the cruel clear channel world.

Keep 'em coming! Hiss or no hiss!
ENCORE!
